DPL (Development Player League) Soccer is an elite national all-girls league. It’s focused on developing and empowering young players.

League Structure of DPL Soccer

The DPL soccer league structure has two main components:

Regional play and
National championship.

Regional Play

DPL is divided into conferences across the US.

Each conference holds matches throughout the year. There are also some breaks for high school seasons.

National Championship

The top teams from each conference qualify for the DPL National Championships.

This event features a unique structure with two tiers:

Super Group: The top 16 teams compete for the National Championship title.
Championship Level: The remaining qualifying teams play for a separate championship title.

The league structure is then further divided into different age groups and divisions.

There are a total of 7 divisions in DPL divided based on the age groups. These are:

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to register your club for the DPL.

Apply for Membership

Any soccer club interested in joining the DPL must apply for membership. You can apply on the official DPL website (https://dpleague.org/apply/).

This application includes a non-refundable application processing fee of $100.00.

Submit required information

Along with the application, clubs must also provide the necessary administrative information.

These include player rosters, coaching staff information, and other relevant paperwork.

Register with the league

Once DPL approves your application, your club will be registered with the league.

After the registration, you will also have to pay league fees. This will cover various administrative expenses related to participating in the DPL.

The DPL (Development Player League) soccer schedule for 2024 includes the following events.
