28 Soccer Teams With Black Jerseys

It is not a common occurrence to see teams with black jerseys in soccer. This is because the color black is historically reserved for the officiating team on a soccer pitch. A team wearing the same color could result in confusion during the game.

However, there’s been a recent shift in this trend. Soccer associations have started to assign different colors to the officiating team, resulting in the color black being available for the teams to wear.

While a black home kit is still rare, a lot of big soccer teams now wear black as their away and third jerseys.

Other teams like Newcastle United and Juventus have integrated the black color on their jerseys as a part of black stripes along with other colors.

So, in this article, we’ll explore the list of soccer teams with black jerseys as their home kits, as their alternative kits, and as a part of a black and white stripes pattern.
